HIMYM Season....um...what season is it?

Exactly my point. It bogged down tremendously. That was around the point that I gave up, too, but I ended up coming back after a couple of seasons and it got better. They basically worked around it by having him become "The Blur." You really had to just toss Superman continuity as we knew it out the window. But the real problem was not letting the story develop organically. They didn't need 11 seasons of him without the costume or flying.

There was one great thing about bringing in Lois Lane. Erica Durance is extremely hot. Then again, that was always a big part of Smallville. They had one hot girl after another. A buddy of mine who was a fan of the show always said it made him want to move to Kansas.

Seriously. Either my parents were boring and practically monks or they never told me about all of their stoned moments and all of the people they banged in their 20s. Thank god.

That's the part of the show that is a big squeamish to me. This is supposed to be about a man telling his children how he met their mother. I wouldn't be able to sit through hearing about seven years of my dad having sex with a bunch of random women who aren't my mom. Or even sex with my mom. EWWWWWWWWWWWW.

My mom told me my dad cooked dinner naked for her last week. My parents never lock their doors...thank God no one like my aunt or a neighbor "popped in" for a visit that day.

I'm ready for this show to be done...

I'd watch a show about Lily and Marshall. Barney is still hilarious.

Ted is awful and Robin is almost as bad.

That's the problem with such a small cast. You can only do so much if the whole cast has to share all of these adventures.

I love Robin. OK, maybe part of that is I love Cobie Smulders. But she has impeccable timing and the whole Canadian accent/anything aboat Canada really gets me every time.

    Good episode tonight.

Plus the return of the yellow umbrella (s)

Who else caught the Conan cameo?

  11. I really liked the episode all the way up until the very end when Marshall says he isn't ready to pay up on the bet with Lily. Even if it's just the writers having fun and leaving a red herring out there that Ted and Robin aren't completely done, it was completely unnecessary and almost completely undid what the point of that whole episode was. I thought it was going to be the final nail in the coffin of Robin and Ted while also putting Robin and Barney together. Maybe it does that anyway but that line was completely unnecessary. Marshall paying up on that bet would have been a nice ending, actually.
