HIMYM Season....um...what season is it?

The one thing, to me, the episode was missing was: Where exactly is Robin going? From our perspective, she has all of her stuff packed up and nowhere to put it. Is she moving in with Marshall and Lily?

That episode was missing nothing. How I Met Your Mother wraps up loose ends better than any show ever. It'll work itself out.

If you're still pissed about last week's episode, you should stop watching the show. That was as good as any in recent memory.

I caught the glimpse of Conan O'Brien and wondered what that was all about, if he was coming back later in the show. He didn't. But later in the night, Shane Victorino and Apolo Ono pop up in Hawaii 5-0.
Agree that Marshall's closing comment was unnecessary.
My kid also noticed something I missed, somebody in a knit cap at the very beginning of the show (I was a couple minutes late at the start) and then that same knit cap under the first yellow umbrella to pass by.

The opening was about the first time he said "I love you" to The Mother, who was wearing a knit cap and under a yellow umbrella. That ending was a direct reference to that scene.

Marshall paying up on that bet would have been so completely out of character, though. That's not the way he and Lily work. They're both ridiculously competitive.

When Barney went running out of the bar, he ran past Conan.

InterWebs says he won a charity auction for a role. The plan was for him to have a speaking part but he thought it would be funnier if he was in the background.

I agree -- seemed very strange given the rest of the episode.

While Lily's new trait of trying to break them up was out of charachter, it worked OK. I didn't like the Barney story line with respect to the sex tape. He was very good with Ted on the Robin stuff.

I'm surprised there hasn't been more blowback over the million yellow umbrellas on the street ... it's almost like the writers go out of their way to taunt the viewer.

The more I think about it, I'd like to take back my statement on the yellow umbrellas. If they are supposed to symbolize Ted finally opening his eyes to the possibilities in front of him, then I'm OK with that.

Lily broke up several of Ted's relationships. Five of six, based on flashbacks.
