HIMYM Season....um...what season is it?

I will when it hits 8 out west. Not sure how intently I'll watch, though.

It was pretty good. I like Becki Newton.

 

Tonight was the first night I watched that and realized I was thoroughly not enjoying it.

 

How does Ted get to stay in a dorm?

 

He's a professor at the school. ... Not perfect logic, but, ya know...

 

A lot of my favorite episodes for How I Met Your Mother are the ones that are least essential to the plot. This was a key plot episode, and I thought the humor was hit-or-miss.

 

Fair point. I have mentioned before that I like when Barney isn't treated as pathetic, as that's why this one worked for me.

The Marshall storyline was a bit stupid, and the little cliffhanger about Ted not seeing Robin for a while was par for the course, but overall it was a decent episode.

 

I thought he quit that when he started designing the GNB building.

 

Oh, yeah. Maybe. Was he doing both? I can't remember. We haven't seen Ted work in a long time.
