HIMYM Season....um...what season is it?

I'm assuming it's Kumar's kid.

 

I must not have been watching closely.

What happened at the end that I missed?

 

Robin told Barney she is pregnant.

 

some of the Ted-Barney banter was funny and the apartment gags were amusing, but that was a dreadful episode.

 

Since I'm assuming this week's episode happened shortly after last week's episode, that would eliminate Barney from being the father.

 

They never specify how long Barney had been screwed over by Robin by staying with Kevin...so it could be his.

 

Yeah, it was pretty mediocre. What really hurts the show for me is just how completely unlikable Ted is.

The rest of the cast is great.

 

Holy crap. I did miss that.

 

I don't know that it follows a timeline where you can say last week's episode happened seven days before this week's episode. I foresee the uncertainty being a big part of the plot -- Robin is going to tell Kevin it might not be his baby, at which point he bails from the relationship, that kind of thing.

 

It's most certainly possible that Barney's the father.

 

Why would that be so horrible?

 

I say they let Kumar join the show and they kill off Ted. It can turn out that the character that Saget is doing the voice over for is Barney or Marshall.
