Fishburne in Apocalypse Now is an all-timer.

Let's not forget about Clint Eastwood as a lab scientist in Revenge of the Creature, the second film in the "Creature From the Black Lagoon" franchise. It's also probably the only 3-D film that Eastwood has been in.

That doesn't work for me. I saw the movie when it came out and remembered him from it. So when I saw him later, I said, "Oh, that's the guy from Apocalypse Now."

Easy enough to get lost in all of the other references. Every time I see that stupid show (my kid loves it), I try to hear it, but it just doesn't sound like Brown at all, which is kind of impressive. When he does the voice for Lex Luthor, however, you can definitely tell who it is.

"When production began in March 1976 he was just fourteen, apparently lying about his age to get the part. Filming took so long that he was already seventeen upon its completion."

Two from The Color of Money:

Forest Whitaker as the hustler Amos and John Turturro as Julian.

See, that's another one that is more a first big role than a "wow, he looks totally different and was just in the background!" He showed up in Platoon and Good Morning Vietnam, and I said, "Cool! Charles Jefferson!"

Sylvester Stallone swiped someone's purse in a Woody Allen flick: Bananas?

Special mention to a pre-fame Ashley Judd playing Ensign Robin Lefler on Star Trek. And, much to my chagrin, kissing that dweeb Wesley.

Forrest Whitaker was at his best in Bloodsport... as was nearly everyone else in that movie
