Not to come off all Bill Simmons-y, but no way, no how does any red-blooded American male not rail Famke like Mike McD didn't in Rounders. Not if she throws herself at you. And coming off being dumped? Please. That was the most unbelievable plot twist in that movie by a wide margin.

I remember that episode, too. Didn't realize it was her. According to IMDB, she was on The Love Boat as a recurring character even before the Night Court appareance, which was before the Stark Trek episode, which was before she played Tango's sister. All a few years before Lois & Clark, which is when I first put a name to a face with her.

That movie ranks high on my really bad, but really rewatchable list. Especially when Jack Palance wheezes through every line in the film.

All Teri Hatcher fans should try to find "The Cool Surface."

I was watching a documentary on the making of Animal House the other day and learned that the guy who plays bass for Otis Day and the Knights in the toga scene is none other than Robert Cray.

How about Kevin Bacon in Planes, Trains and Automobiles? It was on the other night and I had to do a double-take. He was the guy across the street hailing the same cab as Steve Martin.

I realize Kevin Bacon is a bit of a Holy Crap! stretch since he's been in just about everything, but it did catch me off-guard to see him in Planes, Trains and Automobiles.

John Hughes seemed to be making a bunch of movies around Chicago at that time - I'm somewhat certain there is also a cameo from Martin or Candy in She's Having a Baby, maybe even Ferris Bueller.

Yeah, Bacon was making She's Having a Baby at the same time. There's also a scene in PTA where Steve Martin's wife is watching TV alone, waiting for him, and the TV is playing a scene from SHAB.

    Just remembered one ...

The woman who plays Will Ferrell's wife in "Old School" (and also Ari Gould's wife in "Entourage") played the freshman Chris Eigemann banged on "Kicking and Screaming," the mid-90s post-college slacker movie, not the Will Ferrell soccer movie.

I learned from this very message board that the woman who was the DJ in the awesome movie The Warriors was also the voice of Luna on The Bear In The Big Blue House.
