    Danson: "Clear up!... Clear up!"

Giamatti (after a long pause): "Clear down!"

BTW, was just reading Giamatti's imdb.com profile. Am I the only one that didn't realize that he's Bart Giamatti's son?

Jack Black makes a brief appearance with Kyle Glass in PCD. They're playing folk music during some hippy crap early in the film, IIRC.

I sort of cheated on this one - director's commentary told me - but if you watch the scene in Superbad when the Hill and Cera kids go with the guy who hit Hill with his car to the party, one of the guys in the background is Danny McBride, now of Tropic Thunder and Eastbound and Down fame. Apparently he's really close friends with some of the guys who had small lines in the party scenes - one of them played the coked-up bartender on E&B.

I think Dennis Farina was in Saving Private Ryan also.

I thought he just sort of bid farewell and that was that. I've been known to be wrong once or twice.

When watching Side Out, the magnum opus of beach volleyball, I thought I had a big one when I was convinced that C. Thomas Howell's early partner in the movie was Edward Norton. Sadly, it wasn't.

Someone early on in this thread mentioned Kevin Costner as the corpse in The Big Chill. Before that he was in Table For Five -- a pretty good Jon Voight flick with Roxana Zal (Something About Amelia) in 1983 where divorced father Voight takes his kids on a Mediterranean Cruise. Costner plays "Newlywed husband" on the cruise ship.

For me, though, a nice "Holy Crap! That was ..." moment was "Lean On Me" where Michael Imperioli is one of the rowdy kids that Joe Clark (Morgan Freeman) kicks out of East Side High early in the movie.

Michael Imperioli has a few of them. The TV reporter outside the house that gets firebombed in Malcolm X, Spider in Goodfellas, a guy who gets fucked up pretty well in Dead Presidents. He has done a lot of stuff.
