Was watching "Love Actually" yesterday and forgot that January Jones has a very bit part as one of the girls that Colin meets when he gets to Wisconsin.

I remember a Law & Order a few seasons back that had the Sklar brothers as the initial suspects in a murder investigation.

All kinds of references on Page 5 to Fishburne in that film and in "Pee Wee's Playhouse."

Ooh, that's cool. I've gotta check that out!

My latest... Watched an ep of "Cheers" over the holiday week - the one where Sam locks himself out of the bar and goes to everyone's home looking for a place to crash for the night - and there are two great ones in it.

First, Sam goes to a payphone (remember those?) to call Carla to get an extra set of keys, but a Shriner is using the phone. The Shriner: NYPD Blue's Gordon Clapp (he played Medavoy).

Then, Sam goes to a hotel where a buddy used to fix him up with a free room. His friend isn't there, and the desk clerk stiffs him with a large side order of snark. The clerk: the omnipresent Peter MacNicol (most recently in "Numb3rs").

You'll also see Gordon Clapp as catcher Ray Schalk of the Chicago "Black" Sox. "Eight Men Out" 1988.

In Coyote Ugly, Kaitlin Olson from It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia is one of the women bidding for a night with the young male love interest.

Also among the bar patrons is Johnny Knoxville, and the photographer who gets yelled at is played by Michael Bay, producer/executive producer of many films.

Just got done watching "American Pie" on Comedy Central and saw something that made me think of this thread. In the scene toward the end, where the guy blows off the lacrosse game to sing in the choir competition, is that Kal Penn (from Harold and Kumar) in the background?

Speaking of Harold and Kumar, John Cho is the kid who coins the term "MILF" (or at least that's the first time I ever heard it) at the party early on ...

  10. We (in rural W.Va) were using the term MILF in the early 1990s, circa 1992-93.

You're right. I forgot about that. His billing, according to IMDB, is "John, 'MILF' Guy #2."

Do you remember the first sequel when he knocked a plant off the balcony rail, KO-ing Stifler's squeeze, and then pissed on Stifler's head? And Stifler thought the girl was pouring champagne on him? Well, that girl was Joanna Garcia.

The guy who played Junior Soprano was also on an old episode as a judge. That same guy might also be the disturbing old man in the Six Flags ads, but I can neither confirm nor deny that.
