No mentions for Nic Cage and Eric Stoltz as "stoner buds 1 and 2" in Fast Times.
Judge Reinhold as "the guy with a lot of screen time but no dialogue" in Stripes?
Haysbert was also in a White Shadow episode.

Piotr, once again you are the guru of SportsJournalists.com geekdom. Thank you. I was going to have to watch the whole thing looking for him. Now I can go find that scene.

I believe Anthony Edwards was "Stoner Bud #2."

Nic Cage is the guy who says "nice car." Billed as Nicolas Coppola.

Right - Nic was Brad's Bud.

Another great one is Stephen Colbert's guest stint on Criminal Intent as a bad guy. Quite effective.

Paul Giamatti and Phillp Seymour Hoffman were in a ton of stuff before they hit it big. Hoffman was the hippie dude in Twister and Giamatti was Pigface in Private Parts and had a bit part in Truman.

Sofia Coppola has parts in all 3 Godfathers, but people only remember III. ::)

Her role in GF I was actually pretty significant, though.

Tim Burton's cameo in Singles always made me smile. "He's just the next Martin Scorseeeeeeese."

    Singles ruled.

I loved the guys from Pearl Jam as Matt Dillon's bandmates.

I remember driving around Seattle one day and looking for the building in the film.

One of John Cusack's early films, "The Sure Thing," where he is coming from the frozen East to California with Daphne Zuniga to hook up with Nicollette Sheridan (awesome, by the way), he catches a cross-country ride with Tim Robbins and some dorky woman who wants to sing show songs the whole way.

The 1983 TV movie "Quarterback Princess" starred Helen Hunt as the QB, and in much smaller roles Daphne Zuniga as her sister and Tim Robbins as one of the linemen. (I believe he's the one who gets to utter the inspiration line at the big moment of the film: "Hey Tammy? Just keep on... keepin' on."
