Did you autograph the plunger? A colleague of mine offered to do that after destroying a Wendy's shitter somewhere in Maryland.

This thread if somewhat reassuring for me. I was always thinking that I was the only person who did some of the things listed above. I don't have a fear of dropping a deuce in public restrooms, but I am pretty self-conscious about it. At work, I usually use the downstairs restroom, which is secluded at night. My main thing is I need some privacy. I could never be in the military, because I need walls and a door. I've even gone as far as keeping a mental note of good "road restrooms" for when I'm out on assignment.

It's not like the shitter where PVT Pyle blew his brains out, anymore.

Other than the most primitive days of the Afghanistan war in late 2001, early 2002, I've never experienced "open air" crappers. It's mostly port-o-johns now, even at firing ranges and on field exercises, and such.

Can we move this to the "TMI" thread?

I dunno, we seem to have struck a rich vein here. A thread like this turns up about once a year, anyway.

I've been home for two days, anyways, and everything's back to normal.

Crapping in the military must be tough. I figure after a few weeks everyone's digestive system is on the same schedule as well as the opportunities to crap. Good thing they're on porto-potties now. I imagine plumbing takes a 20-minute beating in the morning when everyone shits after sun up.

I think this may turn into the new "Where's Poindexter?" thread. Where's HH? Is he close to home? If he's not, can we send a caravan out to get him and transport him home so that he may deuce in peace?

This is very important stuff. When it comes to the shitter, men don't mess around.

This may be the ultimate use for an application like FourSquare, which I never really saw the point of.

Nope. And now that you mention it, I'm disappointed in myself for not thinking of that.

No problem. Do what I did. Read the entire library of old funbags at work and get paid for it.

Or print them out and read them in the can. :)
