The Former Director of the CIA flies commercial? Even if he works for a private business he doesn't fly to Pakistan commercial.

And as bat shit crazy as she is, taking out the Uncle if the right thing to do, even if Saul is killed.

    But damn, she is crazy.

I wonder if she is carrying another terrorist's baby.

Sneaky, sneaky with the Damian Lewis cameo this week. Glad it was just a cameo and nothing more.

This show is so ridiculous, it might as well exist in the same universe as Scandal. It's like Scandal for smart people, except it's gotten to be equally as dumb.

How does Quinn overrule the station chief in a drone strike, btw? The amount of treason committed per episode in Homeland is staggering. And yet, the show actually IS better this season, despite how bad it is. Would anyone *really* have been surprised if it had turned out Brody's death had been staged? I think the only reason that worked is the show has reached such a point of absurdity, I really did briefly wonder if they were going to reboot the whole Brody/Carrie romance, Part 2: Pakistani Booglaoo.

I watched that whole scene thinking "please don't make me turn this show off forever."

Not that I'd be horribly disappointed, but it does have its moments. Saul traipsing around Pakistan all by his lonesome was all we needed to see about the script's reflection of real life.

What kind of psychotic drug was in the fake pills Carrie's been popping to make her go off the deep end as far as she has - especially hallucinating that Brody's still alive? Why were those the only pills she was taking when she's got 4-5 bottles of other meds?

Agree with the points that taking out the uncle was the right thing to do even if meant Saul dying. Also agree with the question on how does Quinn overrule a station chief - even if meant killing a former CIA director.

I must've missed something earlier in the season (or forgotten it from a previous season) - but how is the woman in Pakistani intelligence (blackmailing the diplomat's husband) connected to the uncle? There's definitely a connection there I just don't remember what it is (or maybe it hasn't been revealed yet and I'm simply connecting too many dots)

Did they slip Carrie drugs that made her hallucinate that badly and essentially made her condition much worse, or did they slip her sugar pills and without her regular meds she's that batty?

It hasn't been exactly revealed how the women is connected to the uncle, but I think its through the dead-CIA guy that set up the initial wedding bombing. She was dealing with him, and I assume she got her instructions to set up the wedding thing from the uncle.

I thought it was clear that they switched her pills with capsules that contained corn starch or whatever and she's going nuts because she's not on her real meds.

My thoughts exactly. The whole show is absurd, but it definitely is better this season. There are no fewer than 10 "what the fuck?" moments each episode. And not the good "what the fuck?" either. Yet I keep watching.

I did enjoy what turned out to be Carrie's fake "pew-pew-pew" gun shots toward the end.

That was my assumption -- combination of how crazy she is anyway and withdrawal from the medication she was on.

The last two episodes have been outstanding. Mandy Patankin (sp) is really, really, really good.

Why wouldn't the terrorists have asked for 10, 20, 30 prisoners to exchange for Saul? They knew the Americans would do anything to get him back. Maybe a logistical headache to bus all the Gitmo releasees away from the exchange site.

The end of the latest episode made me think of "24," what with security breached via a "tunnel." Didn't bad guys get into the White House that way on Jack Bauer's show?
