Says the guy who didn't even realize Chris Davis was always a power hitter. Nobody has proven themselves clueless about baseball as consistently as you, fart boy.

Did I question what Stanton did in 2014? No. In fact, I argued for him as MVP until he got hurt late in the season. He is an amazing player, but he has battled some injuries and inconsistency. NONE of what you just posted comes close to countering my point.

In other words, more failure by fart boy.

I'm not going to waste my time arguing player evaluation with a guy who uses pitcher wins and reliever ERA to buttress arguments.
Bye-bye little man, have a good Sunday.

Translation. He knows I'm right, so he attempts to mislead everybody, then runs away.

You're not equipped to translate anyone's ideas, being so deficient of your own.

Didn't you just say you were done? What a shock. Fart boy lied again.

Just admit it. What Stanton did in 2014 does nothing to counter my claim that he has shown some inconsistency and he has battled some injuries during his career.

His career offensive runs (around +115) ranks 30th all-time for players with 2,500 plate appearances between 20 and 24.
The 10 names immediately above Stanton:
    Jimmy Sheckard,
    Miguel Cabrera,
    Sherry Magee,
    Rickey Henderson,
    Ducky Medwick,
    Cesar Cedeno,
    Orlando Cepeda,
    George Davis,
    Vada Pinson
    and Tim Raines.

So- four Hall-of-Famers, two debateable Hall-of-Famers, a future Hall of Famer and two of the best younger players of their generations.
If this is the company he keeps when his "consistency" (a bullshit sportswriter word) doesn't meet your lofty standard, then he's doing OK.

Jon Hamm plays Sherry Magee in the movie.

Yes, a Giancarlo grouped with a Ducky, Rickey, Miggy, Orlando, Vada and a man named Sherry.
Truth is stranger than fiction and b-ref is a wonderful thing.

None of which comes close to countering my point, especially the one about injuries.

Also, I thought you said you were done? I guess you lied again, just like you lied when you claimed that you don't troll the serious threads.

I have zero concern regarding Stanton's ability. I have never stated any concern about his ability. I'd like to see him stay healthy and consistent more than one season before giving him a 13-year deal in which he controls the only out clause.

Yet another completely useless post by the lying troll. Thanks fart boy. It is always nice when you prove me right.
