I'm thinking the signing of Aaron fucking Boone is what is going to put the Nats over the top this season.

Wow...such a shock that you joined in there, Doc. ::)

And he did address me in his second post. His first was a shot to stir up shit and you know it. Or at least you should.

Seriously, BYH....when the Twins were going to lose their best player for salary reasons, was that a reason for everyone on your side of the argument to shut up? Are you going to admit you are wrong if they do trade him? Or lose him as a free agent a year from now?

You stayed out of this because events didn't lend themselves to your argument. You jumped in to start shit when you saw a chance.

It's just like the A-Rod situation. I honestly don't remember if it was you or not, but somebody made a snarky remark about how the Yankees losing Rodriguez was proof that the system isn't really fucked up in their favor. Has anybody owned up to being wrong on that one now that he is returning to the Yanks?

Occasionally, the teams at a disadvantage are going to spend money. That doesn't mean the disadvantage isn't there.

Haha, I thought they'd go after Andruw Jones, and I'm surprised they haven't made that Rios deal. Are they conscious of their offense right now?? Then again, maybe we shouldn't be surprised; their offense the past few years was basically Bonds and a bunch of old stiffs.

It wasn't a shot at you. It was a shot at the stupid argument that there are teams in baseball that can't afford to compete. But poor little picked on outofplace sees personal shots where there are none.

Please. I've been in this argument forever. I don't pick and choose my spots based on when I think my argument will hold water, because I KNOW it holds water. As I've noted many times, you can come up with any half-assed theory you want about why the NFL's way is better, and I'll shatter it with plenty of evidence.

But everyone gripes when a baseball thread is hijacked by economic discussions. So I let others do it this time. You can go on thinking I stayed out of this because events didn't lend themselves to my argument. I'm sure you will, because it'll make you feel all big and strong. :)

Back to iggy you go. :)

Edit: Once again, outofplace can't handle life on blast. Let the record show I never replied to his little "never respond to my posts again" message, so he quoted Doc as an excuse to try and get the last word in.

Can't handle being ignored can you? Well this reply should give you shower nozzle masturbation material for weeks.

    Have a nice night. :)

Yup...typical BYH...hit and run rather than actually back up his points.

And you dig up stuff I have said to you all time time, but when I do it back you bitch about it.

I never said I was picked on at all. I called bullshit on your point and you turned it personal and now you are running away.

At least I stand behind what I write.

    Have a nice night yourself.

Are you suggesting that Omar does not have the right "skill sets" to build a winner in Flushing?

Great, oop and BYH's feud takes a nice-sized dump on another thread.
