Nah, dickhead, I'm just pointing out that I was amused watching Gagne suck ass for the Sox. I'll be the first to admit they were the best team in baseball last season.
Plus, I don't think that Gagne deserved Type B compensation - it was more by name recognition than by what he did last year, that is for sure.

To answer your question, fanboi Angola , I think Gagne's successful run with the Rangers increased his Elias ranking. That's the only thing I can think of.

 

Well, that is all I can think of also. I guess his time with the Red Sox is what made him a Type B compensation? Seriously, he probably deserves a Type B based on his season's worth of work, but I guess you'd think he would free fall based on his Red Sox time he'd free fall even farther. At least that is my guess.

And with that, I'm going to go fuck my girlfriend and not worry about what the Red Sox are/have done.

Edit: OK, based on buckdub's post, Gag-me fits in with that group, while the Gagne that pitched with the Rangers doesn't deserve to be in that group. I guess the 2007 Gagne deserves Type B compensation. Thanks for clearing that up, buckdub. Oh, and with the edit, I will still be fucking the girl.
