    Let's not be fucking stupid.

I don't think the Twins are going to let Santana go to a division rival.

Even if they could get Willis in return?

Edit: Though now that I think about it, Hughes in some ways is more attractive.

I haven't heard one word about it either.

The only reason Willis' name has been brought up is because the Tigers' payroll will be around $120 million this year and some blogboi thinks thats too much for the Tigers.

And even if the Twins were willing to trade Santana to a division rival, I don't think a Willis-Inge package would be enough.

Hughes is a lot more attractive. He's much cheaper and Willis has gotten progressively worse the last two seasons. I like Inge, but Willis and Inge is nowhere close to enough for Santana.

The Tigers had the type of attractive pieces that could have brought in Santana, but most of them went out in the deal for Cabrera.

I was joking about Snell or Bay being in the deal, but apparently the Pirates really are talking to the Tigers about Inge.

I guess they wanted to see if they could get a third baseman who was even worse than Jose Bautista last year.

Yeah, I read that today. Any idea who the Pirates might have to offer? Capps?

I saw that yesterday and damn near busted out laughing. Do they still have Farnsworth too? Holy shit, the material will be endless.

Can you imagine Girardi going to the bullpen for Farns then having to lift him for BlowTroy?

That's going to be fun to watch in a "I've never seen a train wreck quite like this" kind of way.
