Here it is 'Gola. It's not long, but there's a few interesting things on there:

And apparently the DBacks traded Carlos Quentin to the White Sox: http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=3140006

    Thanks.

As far as the trade, I thought Quentin was a big time prospect for the DBacks? Why are they trading him?

I thought the same about Quentin, but his numbers were pretty low last year. I guess they think he won't reach his potential there. He is only 25, I think, so who knows, maybe he'll catch on in Chicago.

Glenn Gibson, pitching prospect who was in Vermont this year, has already been named. They said "player to be named" at first because they hadn't reached him yet.

There's a difference between being an asshole (Milledge) and being a fucking criminal (Dukes).

I am officially done with baseball.

Not sure how much you want to believe Steve Phillips, but on ESPN's blog he says the Royals are close to completing a 3 year 36 mil deal for Jose Guillen. So much for him being a mentor to Dukes and Milledge in Washington. :)

Heyman says the Twins and Yanks are at an impasse, and Minnesota has resumed talks with Boston.

The midnight deadline set by Yankees owner Hank Steinbrenner -- whether he meant EST or CST -- passed without a deal. The Twins, however, reportedly felt more amused than threatened by New York's ultimatum and when no agreement was reached early Tuesday, they simply resumed talking to the Red Sox.

Bluster and bluffs seem to be the new m.o. from the Yankees. Someone needs to clue in Hank Steinbrenner that not only doesn't the tactic work but it also comes back to haunt you in future deals.

Ha! You do realize I was kidding about that one, right?

That's a lot of cash for a pretty average outfielder.

Oh I know you were kidding, oop.

And you're right, that does seem like a lot for Guillen.
