    I think we all know that when you start bending your integrity for "the greater good" you find yourself going down a dark hole. Their first obligation is to be honest with the public. If you can't do that and protect the source, no longer protect the source. You don't have to burn him, but you shouldn't use them again. I wish DC journos would learn this.
