How do you relax?

Drive here at night

 

In all seriousness, this describes me. Books and gardening. That's about it.

 

walking and playing with the dog
trying new bourbons
the occasional cigar
video games
finding new music
barbecuing
watching way too much basketball

 

Walk 6 miles at 4:30 in the morning.

Walk 4 miles at 11 in the morning.

All CBD-driven so I'm nice and relaxed throughout the day.

Surfing YouTube and Twitter.

General mishmoshery.

 

My zen place ... a day spent driving country roads and listening to my favourite podcasts. I had my first day off since the pandemic started last week and I drove most of the day listening to the "This American Life" episodes that had been piling up on my iPod.

 

Playing guitar/singing.
Walking the dog (no, not a euphemism, you pervs!)
Doing puzzles ... crossword, Sudoku, cryptogram.

 

Plunking around on my bass.

But not singing. Nobody should ever have to hear me sing, including me.

 

I drive in my Miata with top down and music up;

take naps.

 

Honey, is that you?

 

I shoot in the right direction.
I make it my intention.
I live those dreams.
I scheme those schemes.
And then it hits me, hits me with those laser beams.

Either that, or just sit in the shade with a few beers and enjoy the world passing by.
