    I enjoyed it, but it wouldn't even make my top-half if I were ranking the whole show ep by ep.

    I can totally understand why some hated it.

    I don't know, the rhyming episode was waaaay worse than this one was.

    (And I'm not just saying that because I'm on the record for liking this one. The rhyming episode was that bad.)

    The "Mike and Molly" agenda is now to cash in on Melissa McCarthy's movie fame. So they've switched the focus from nice little stories to slapstick stuff that has her driving forklifts and punching people in bars and falling out windows. I've seen one or two shows that were more like the original episodes, but more often than not there's that moment where Molly breaks something.

    I don't know how the writers could have thought that was a good idea, moreso because it's just lame at this point. That's a Dads-level attempt at racial humor.
