    Chuck Cunningham Syndrome.

She didn't test well with audience and was dumped...at least that's what I remember hearing.

Last time I looked, she was playing women's basketball at Ohio State ...

Let's see...we had Cobie's husband (who apparently had been in four episodes before Monday. I even watched one of the reruns on Monday and I still didn't remember Gary Blauman), Neil's husband (Scooter, of course) and Alyson's husband (Sandy Rivers). Jason and Josh need to get on it.

This just felt like a treading-water episode before Barney/Robin's wedding and us finally finding out how Ted and the Mother met.

Gary has been in at least three other episodes. And I didn't see that as treading water because it showed how much Ted has grown.

What did I miss with this guy who has been hanging with them continuously for the last episode or two? Who in the hell is he?

Zabka? He was the bad guy in Karate Kid. Barney thinks he was actually the hero. Robin got him to dress as a clown for Barney's bachelor party to surprise him.

Wow, didn't realize all the connections. I only knew of the Alyson and Alexis Denisof being married. It didn't come to me that the other two husbands were in the show as secondary characters. Thanks!

On the other hand, I did not know that Alyson was married to the guy who played Sandy Rivers. Kind of cool that those spouses got bit parts.

This makes me wish they had done an alternate reality episode with Robin, Barney and Lily ending up with the characters played by their spouses.

That was really well done. Not sure what everybody else thinks, but that was one of my favorites from the entire season.

  11. Even if it was "Future Days", hearing Pearl Jam over the wedding put it over the top for me. Enjoying this season and I get the beefs from the last couple years, but I've greatly enjoyed this show and next week will be a little bittersweet.

Loved it. I'm with vonnegut -- Pearl Jam with the wedding was perfect for me, and even though"Future Days" isn't my favorite PJ love song ("Untitled" or "Just Breathe" are better), it fit the moment with the theme they were going with perfectly.
