I think they miss the point. I'm not unhappy that the ending was sad.

The wife told me the DVD will also have the explanation of the pineapple. They apparently shot it.

Well, two of the douches slapped the olive branch away.

I can only guess that the third was busy rolling out volleyballs.

(Sorry for the mini-jack, all. That's all from here.)

Why does it matter that they made an alternative ending? Just don't watch it.

Isn't it normal for DVD sets to have alternate endings, deleted scenes and various other extras to get people to buy the box set.

If the finale didn't have alternate endings for the DVD, I'd be a little disappointed.

I just wanted every single character to board a plane in Kuala Lumpur, bound for China, taking a quick and unexplained swing toward the southern Indian Ocean, never to be heard from again. That would have been a perfect ending for the 21st century version of "Friends," two shows where I loathed every character, some more than others.
How was this crap on for nine seasons? Then again, Two and a Half Men remains on the air for a variety of unfathomable reasons.

A far better show than "According to Jim," which lasted eight seasons, believe it or don't.

    Yes, there's some perspective.

Love it or hate it, at least 2 1/2 Men gets (or got) crazy ratings. It's been top 20 all but one season. It was No. 11 last season, which is why I think there is fear that it may never go away...

According to Wikipedia, HIMYM was never a top 40 show.

CBS chooses not to pick up How I Met Your Dad for the fall.
