17 of 20. Where do I pick up my Canadian passport? I'm claiming asylum.

Nice. 14 out of 20, but there were a lot of clues inherent in the questions themselves (i.e. No. 6. What part of the Constitution legally protects the basic rights and freedoms of all Canadians? and No. 7. Name two fundamental freedoms protected by the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms.)

    I got the following wrong:

    1. Who are the Aboriginal peoples of Canada?
    5. Who was the first Prime Minister of Canada?
    10. Which animal is an official symbol of Canada?
    11. What is the tower in the centre of the Parliament buildings called?
    18. How many electoral districts are there in Canada?
    20. Name the Prime Minister of Canada and his party.

Same here. I did better as an American taking the Canadian test then most Americans do taking the U.S. test. ;)

Missed No. 7. I figured the longest, most convoluted answer was probably the correct one. My bad. :D

    Class is in session.

    1. All of the above ... First Nations is the name given to aboriginal bands on a general basis, Metis are the descendants of 'relations' between Western Canadian aboriginals and the French (typically) and U.K. immigrants, the Inuit are aboriginals inhabiting the Arctic areas of Canada, specifically the territories and Labrador.
    5. Sir John A. Macdonald. Not a drunk as is traditionally believed ... rather a tea-totaler.
    10. Ah the plucky beaver ... a hard worker, never give up attitude. How Canadian! And the loon may grace the dollar but the beaver reigns supreme ... on the nickel.
    11. Trick question. The Victoria Tower burned down in the Parliament Hill fire in 1916 and was rebuilt as the Peace Tower to mark the end of the First World War.
    18. And due to its population base, Ontario has a large share of them ... which means they typically own the vote.
    20. Read a newspaper. :D

I have no idea how, but I got 15 out of 20.

    I missed:
    5. Who was the first Prime Minister of Canada?
    7. Name two fundamental freedoms protected by the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms.
    10. Which animal is an official symbol of Canada?
    17. What do you call a law before it is passed?
    18. How many electoral districts are there?
