    Hot damn how I loved lacing those up, over two pairs of Wigwam knee socks, before every game. Loved the way they looked, the way they felt. I don't wear basketball shoes anymore, but if I did, those are the ones I would want.

    I would love to have a pair of the original Air Force 1's and a pair of the old Converse Weapons.
    The Larry Bird ones were sick.

    Had a pair of rookie Adidas Ewing Conductors, with insoles made, it seemed, of slate. Sold them lightly used 25 years later to a guy in Malaysia for $125.
