Anyway . . .

Lived in California, Indiana, Florida, Missouri, New York. Drove through most points between California-Indiana-Florida. Visited Dakotas as a kid; hope to never go back. Never been to upper Northeast or Pacific Northwest.

 

My wife was pregnant at the time. I can't remember if we did it or not on that trip. Wait ... do dead deer count? Never mind.

I have been to 49 states - - only North Dakota remians on my list of states to visit.

 

I counted 38, but I am getting old so maybe I forgot one or two. One thing I have done is that I have driven all but one segment of I-40. I have driven from Amarillo, TX all the way to Barstow, CA, and I've also driven from Little Rock, AR to Wilmington, NC. Sometime, just for the sheer hell of it, I am going to drive from Amarillo to Little Rock on the damn thing just to say I've done it all.

 

I've driven all of I-74! Yes! Up with gun-nut signs in BFE Illinois!

I've also driven all of I-39, I-43, I-77, I-69 (I think) and I-71. Never accuse me of not hitting the garden spots.

On the big interstates, I've driven significant portions of I-70, I-80 and I-90. Also, I-35, I-55, I-65 and I-75.

Yep. I'm a road dork.

 

All of 69 (so far anyway, I guess I'll have to hit the Indy to the Mexican border stretch once they get around to building it). I've also done all of I-75 as far down as Tampa and vast stretches of I-90, I-40, I-5 and I-10. Also all of US-41 from Copper Harbor almost to Chatanooga.

 

A. Sex states -- uh, my list is woefully short: Arizona, Virginia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Nevada. Then again, I've only lived in Arizona and Virginia, so at least there's that.

B. Bubbs, I'm a road dork as well. I've seen both ends of I-10 and driven more than half of it, missing the stretch between New Orleans and where I-20 ends in Texas. ... Of I-95, I'm only missing the stretch north from Portsmouth, N.H. to the Canadian border. ... I-70, been to both ends of it, where it ends at I-15 in Utah and in a commuter parking lot in Baltimore. ... Both ends of I-20, but missing a lot of the in between. ... I've also driven all of I-17 hundreds of times ... Been to both ends of I-40 and am only missing the stretch between Little Rock and Tulsa. ...

 

You probably haven't driven the stretch of I-69 between Tunica, MS and Memphis (I have!).
