How much did you pay for gas today?

I paid $3.04 per gallon Saturday night.

Granted, it was regular unleaded. And it was on a six cents off special. But still.

 

If you thought the economy was slowing down now, this'll look like a picnic if the average price of a gallon gets to $4. Here in Florida we're in the $3.15-$3.20 range.

I haven't needed $40 to fill the tank, but the other day I did cross $35 for the first time ever.

 

Man, what do you drive Trife, a roller skate? I've been over $40 with my Nissan Altima for six months now.

 

Ain't just the Catholics. Populations in Muslim areas in Europe and Canada are exploding -- as they are in Hispanic neighborhoods in the U.S. Irish Catholics in Massachusetts are lagging behind the population boom.

 

I usually fill up with about an eighth of a tank left. If I let the gauge go below E I'm sure the $40 mark would be customary.

 

$3.19 per gallon, $52 and change for the tank. Painful.

 

It depends on if gas is going up or down, and if I want to play the market. If it's going down, and I sense the momentum, I'll let it go until the light goes on. If it's going up with the momentum, I'll fill up with 1/4 left.

 

$3.09. Cost me $45 to fill.

 

Didn't have to fill 'er up today, but I saw at least one $3.33 here.

 

$3.55 a gallon, a few cents under $50 for the tank of regular unleaded

 

$3.45

 

$3.05, and it felt right.
