How much did you pay for gas today?

$3.0fucking5 here, too.

 

i can't even remember back to the $3.05 days. but i'm guessing they were good times. good times.

 

Gas has jumped to $3.35-3.45 here. Luckily my mom called while I was getting lunch and told me a Marathon just down the street from work had gas for $3.18.

Not even 10 minutes after I filled up, they had risen their prices to $3.35.

 

I remember when we were all bitching about $2.75 per gallon. Now we'd dance in the streets for that.

The oil companies have got us stupid Americans figured out. Raise the price 10 cents for a week, lower it 5 cents. Rinse, repeat, record profits.

 

$3.39 here for unleaded. $3.29 for plus (ethanol state). The legislature just overruled a governor veto on a gas tax increase. So another cent will go in effect in fucking July.

Oh, and today, they're taking a final vote (which will probably pass) on another bill that will increase the gas tax another 4 cents. We already have one of the highest gas taxes in the country.

I laugh at the bitching at $3.05 a gallon.

 

Why is gas so much cheaper in Jersey? Especially when companies have to pay someome to pump it for folks?

Oh, by the way, $3.31 here for regular. Diesel is universally $3.99 ... nobody wants to be the first to go over $4.

Paid $3.29 yesterday out of town and saw it for $3.21 in my town.

 

Down three cents to $3.24. Seems like forever since I paid less than $3 a gallon.

Still under $3 at a few places in Northern NJ... lowest are $2.979

 

I paid $3.249 per gallon last night. That's the cheapest I've seen it in my neck of the woods.
