In a 7 hour period at a local gas place, it went from $3.25 to $3.47. It's now up to $3.51.

Needless to say, my Toyota Corolla is looking more and more like a great investment.

Heard it is $3.45. Guess I need to go fill up today before it climbs even further.

3.79 for the expensive shit. It was 3.75 at 1 a.m., but I didn't feel compelled to get it then. Guess I should have.

The "cheap stuff" was $3.85 at a place a bit away from the freeway. Right by the freeway? It was $3.95.

    $3.63.

I'm buying it in $5 increments. I'm not filling the tank up at that price.

I've decided that, because it's going to go through the roof as summer hits, I am going to start filling up when I find a "decent" price and I have less than a half-tank.

    Fucking bastards.

    It's not the oil people.

    It's not India or China.

It's the fucking boys at Wall Streets all over this world who call the price shots.

With an assists from the environmentalists who bitch anytime a refinery is put on the planning tables.
