Considering the crush of Big Oil tools in this admin, I wouldn't feel too badly about that.

$3.54. It took me $42 to fill up a fucking Sentra.

$3.39, deep in the heart of Texas. I got $16 dollars worth and it got me maybe a third of a tank.

Want some "fun"? Go back to the earliest pages of this thread and watch how the price has ticked up and up. And the odd part? Every reason in the book has been employed for the increase in prices. I fully expect that a four-game losing streak by the Kansas City Royals could cause prices to jump, and I dinstinctly remember the same thing happening when Paris Hilton's sex movie hit the market.

I now rent a car for any drive over 100 miles for work.

With gas prices so high, I'm spending well over half the measly mileage allowance I get on just re-filling the tank. Whatever's left doesn't come close to offsetting the wear and tear on my car, which is just a few years old.

what is everyone's mileage rate? we were getting paid 0.31/mile until the recent spike raised it a few cents.

    We're up to a whopping .32.

I might as well walk to my games.

    Getting 25 cents/mile right now.

And my Aveo shouldn't cost $40 to fill up. That's even worse than IJAG's Sentra.

Holding steady at .40/mile. When gas was in the $2-2.25 range, I could almost put the check back into the tank and almost break even on gas. Now, I'm starting to feel the pain.

We're at .40 a mile, and gas was up to $3.44 this morning (cheapest) and $3.53 (most expensive). When I ran my Mazda 3 down to the fuel light last week, it cost me $42.01 to fill a 13-gallon tank (it took 12 gallons). Fucking ridiculous.
I have to drive halfway across the state for a baseball playoff game next week. We've done the same trip several times and it used to be a cash cow. I might make $20 this time, if I'm lucky. I am not looking forward to the football tab in August.

    I think we're 38 or 39 cents a mile.
