It sure felt like I was paying $3.75 to the ninth power.

You want depressing? Go back to the first page of this thread. $2.27? I'd love to see $2.27 again.

$3.64 this morning near home, $3.75 where I work 50 miles away. Price was steady at $3.54 through the weekend, then jumped a dime yesterday afternoon.

I heard it is still in the $3.50 range in San Angelo, which doesn't make any sense to me.

  6. Just ran out for a Diet Pepsi at the gas station down the street.

    $4.05

Paid $3.66 earlier today. Sign said get a discount down to $3.48 using a Marathon card, but I never got the discount for some reason.

$3.98, little shockey reports. with his friends telling him elsewhere nearby it's gone beyond the $4.00 mark. absolute madness.

the lease on our pilot is up in a year. mrs. shockey has design on a honda cvr next. i've gotta year to convince her to go hybrid. wish me luck.

at least go for an accord, for mileage sake. about a 5 mpg difference between the cvr and accord (28-23). i just think going for anything that gets less than 35 mpg these days is insane!

When my lease is up on my Cobalt in a year or so, I'm getting a hybrid. I get 27-28 mpg on the Cobalt, but it's only an 11-gallon tank and it goes by quickly.

$3.83 -- the Costco is still holding firm.

The station i filled up at earlier is a Marathon. Just down the road, maybe a mile or so, gas was $3.75 at a Marathon owned by the same company. Couldnt figure out why the one was cheaper than the other, but im glad i stopped at the one i did.
