I can't believe this thread started because someone was griping at having to pay $2.27 a gallon for gas.

$2.27 won't half-fill my gas can now.

 

I would be planning a road trip if it were $2.27. Amazing how these prices have changed our perception on what $2.27 per gallon is in a shade more than two years.

Had my first $50 tank yesterday in my Camry.

Saw $3.79 today in South Alabam.

It will cost me $100 to fill my tank tomorrow. My wife and I have agreed that when it hit's $4/gallon here, I'm buying another motorcycle.

 

Better start shopping. That'll happen around 2 p.m. Monday.

Was on my way to cover a baseball tournament yesterday. Noticed gas was $3.61 in Tightsqueeze. Figured I'd fill up on the way back home. 12 hours later, it was up to $3.75.
