Shell on the corner went up about a dime every second day for a week. It hit $4.65 about 10 days ago and stayed there until yesterday, when it went down to $4.63.
But we're a week from July 4, so it'll probably be above $4.80 by then.

 

So much for the brief drop. I saw $3.84 yesterday and the same station was suddenly at $3.99 tonight.

Bastards can't even wait for the rise in crude prices to work through the system. They're selling us gas refined at a 15¢ discount and raping us again.

 

$3.71 at a gas station next to the Starbucks I work at -- yesterday. Today, up to $3.89. I bought gas today.

Filled up for $62.52 for a car with a four-banger.

I didn't buy gas today, or yesterday for that matter, but I do this at 12:30 p.m. EST on Tuesday, July 8: Since the opening bell yesterday, oil has fallen $9.07 a barrel and gas hasn't budged here.

 

I paid $3.92.9 15 minutes ago. I think it was 3.88.9 last Thursday. Bastards.
