$2.00, bitches. (Lunch was two kraut dogs from a street vendor, and I think I just killed a guy who had the misfortune of walking into an elevator that, eight seconds earlier, I was alone in.)

Down to $2.15* in Southern Indiana

    * Ed's note: This prices was observed by OTR from the backseat of a Pontiac Bonneville on the way home from the bars last night. The more I think about it, the more it could've been $5.12 a gallon, or maybe even $52.10 a gallon. I honestly have no idea.

$2.59 a few miles north of Boston. With my tank at less than 1/4 full, for the first time in months I filled up for less than $30.

$2.38 for premium yesterday. Saw regular for $2.09 coming home last night. I feel bad the Mobil-Exxon will only make $20 billion in profit with the lower prices. I'm taking up a collection for the executives' children so they can have shoes and maybe share a can of tuna (chunk light, not solid albacore, of course). Who else is willing to step up and donate?
