How much did you pay for gas today?

Didn't go by the cheaper stations on Friday, then when I did yesterday -- sweet hosanna! It had shattered the $3 barrier. Down to $2.87, almost 20 cents cheaper than on Thursday. It was like breaking the sound barrier.
I guess prices can come down as fast as they went up.

 

Price for regular unleaded at the SAME Central Florida station over the last six days:

Monday, 3:52.9
Friday, 3:33.9
Today (Sunday), 3:09.9

 

3.48 in Morrisville.

In a few parts of Jersey it's 2.99.

$2.90 on post.

 

$2.50-60 at most all stations here in San Antonio

 

$3.59 ... still getting fucked in the northwest

 

$2.92 or so in St. Louis, where they also have stations that discount gas for cash payers.

$2.89 in the middle of Illinois on Friday, but I just got back in town and haven't look at a station yet.

 

Filled up last week for $2.78 when most places were still in the $3.20 range. Now that most of the stations around here are down to $2.90 or less, I'll bet I can find it in the $2.60s.

Oh, and there's a place in the general vicinity selling for $1.85, but it's too far away to make it worth the trip -- or the lines.

 

The place I paid 2.66 at on Saturday is down to 2.61 today...lowest in NY Metro area.

According to the news at noon, NJ average price is now 2.98; National average is 3.31; NYC average is 3.43.

 

Filled up for $3.04 today. I fully expect it to drop below $3.00 by the end of the week.
