    If gas prices are being manipulated for political gain, why would they do so when they're going to be completely overshadowed by the economic meltdown? That's like celebrating your spouse's losing weight while they're in a coma.

    $2.60 yesterday.
    I've heard that in some spots its in the $2.30 range.
    I just know that a month ago, I paid $3.95...

    $2.77 and dropping as well. My parents filled up in Texas for $2.67.

    I'm just hoping this holds through the Christmas season. I don't want to shell out $200 just for gas home and back, like I did when I moved here.
