I paid $2.43 yesterday afternoon. It had dropped 14 cents from that morning.
Anytime we break the $2.53 barrier (what it was when Katrina hit) I feel like we've hit some sort of milestone.

What I'd be curious about is the median per/gal price the last time a bbl of oil was this low.

$2.95 two days ago. Hopefully it's dropped lower since.

More than a dollar cheaper in my world.
Last report had it at $2.11. Talk is of it being under two bucks before the weekend is up.
I was kind of freaking out. I was looking at my checking account online and I couldn't account for why I had more money in the bank. I thought a freelance check had been direct deposited.
    Nope.
I realized it was because I wasn't spending nearly $60 to fill up my car.

  7. Check that. $2.08 in OKC.

EDIT: Just heard a business writer say that $1.99 was spotted in south OKC.

    boo.

I was all excited to come on here and post my $2.63, but nooooo....you had to beat me by .64 cents. Booo.

But still ... four months ago I was on the road and so excited to see $3.99 gas that I took a picture of the sign. Now? Eh ... it's on a steep downhill slide and I love it.

  9. Don't get too comfortable. It'll be back up to $3.99 before you know it.

I drove by an Arco and saw gas at $2.85, same station an hour later $2.81. How can gas drop four cents in an hour?
