Saw my first two $1.99s here in Richmond. Never thought I'd see it again.

Driving home from Boston Thursday, I saw a couple places in Dedham down to $2.29 (one was a Citgo, if you're on an anti-Chavez binge).

Chavez probably could do nicely by somehow cutting the prices at the Citgo stations, even at a huge loss, and making the Americans out to be greedy bastards.

Since he's just as greedy of a bastard, I'm sure, it won't happen.

    $2.01 on Friday.
I suspect it will be $1.95 or so when I pass back through on Monday.

It was down to 2.29 at the station by my house yesterday. I flew into Detroit and it was 2.15 at a station near the airport yesterday and was down to 2.08 at same station this morning.

That station is notorious for being higher than others in the area (of course being by the airport, most stuff is higher).

There was one more in by the airport that was at 2.25 when the Speedway was 2.15. Maybe that was the one you're talking about.

$2.15 south of town. Big Oil needs to tweek the conspiracy so that we good little Republicans get to save the extra pennies. :p

And stations near an airport have big markups to soak the people refilling rental cars at the last minute.
