Holding solid in the $1.73-$1.75 range here.

These prices, which are substantially lower than the price I'm paying, really grinds my gears. And it's for some really craptastic 85 fuel. I'd love to write a letter in the local paper, but I know nothing will be done about it.

    $1.42 x (almost empty 16-gallon tank on a Camry) = 21.73.

    We're at CDN$0.759/litre, or US$3.59/gallon.

Dear lord, some of you are paying the equivalent of CDN$0.468/litre. Last time I saw gas prices like that here was damn near 20 years ago.

Filled up for 1.49 a few hours ago before coming to work. Took me 16 bucks for little over 10 gallons.

Heard it's as low as 1.30 in Louisville, but I didn't have enough gas to make the trip.

Paid $1.45 last night, but the cheapo truck stop was advertising $1.37. I think it's dropped a bit today.
Hard to believe I was paying $40-$45 to fill up just four months ago. Last night it cost me $15. I've been charting my month-by-month gas costs since the beginning of the year, and it was about $175 in November (lowest of the year; previous low was in January, when it was $198 and I went on vacation and parked the car for a week). Back in July and August, it was between $350 and $400. It's almost like getting a raise.

Haven't seen it that low in the Louisville just yet. Lowest I saw was $1.35 today.
