I paid $1.899 on Monday. Saw the price for regular unleaded at a different pump closer to my house was four cents lower (from $2.099 to $2.059) though.

I usually make a point to go to a local town where the gas is usually cheapest (the town where the $1.899 was) and get gas there.

Drove across three states (and back) on Friday and gas was between $1.93 and $1.99 everywhere.

It's around $2.05 here and I'm not too pleased. Want it to dip back under $2 before the summer gas season heats up next month.

$2.01 (with a three-cent Speedway Rewards loyalty discount). Gas in Louisville for the next two weeks will be somewhat higher than normal because of Derby traffic.

Anywhere from $1.83 to $1.99 along the I-59/U.S. 45 corridor in Alabama and Mississippi yesterday.

Then why are we paying 2 bucks a gallon?

To make up for the losses gas stations took last summer when they were getting killed on credit card fees and high prices.
