Gas trickled down from $3.35 to $3.33 for regular this a.m., then bounced back up to $3.45 before the day was up. That's 50 cents per gallon in two weeks.

And the premium nozzles have cobwebs on them

The billionaires fuck us in the ass -- business as usual.

They broke the back of the economy in 2008 -- this time they're going for the neck.

They'll still be rich; what the fuck do they care?

MSNBC has a guy doing a standup from a gas station in the San Francisco area.

    Regular is $4.299.

Yep...good thing they live behind gates in their mansions; their private police forces will keep out the pitchfork-welding angry drivers.

If the Dems had any brains, they'd stand out on a bridge, overlooking a traffic-choked freeway, an announce a new corporate tax on oil company profits, with the money to be earmarked for freeway expansion and mass transit projects.

But it's been well established the Dems have no brains.

Of course that doesn't nothing to lower gas prices.

I seem to recall someone saying he was going to go after oil companies when he got elected. Not sure what happened to him...

I remember those days. That was when the world was going to run out of oil by 1980.

A newspaper, I think. I remember those lines when I was a kid. Price controls. Quickest way to create shortages of anything.
