How much did you pay for gas today?

Most gas stations in the Milwaukee metro area holding steady at $3.99. Two Sundays ago, I paid $3.78 at a station in the suburbs, but that price has been by far the far exception, as opposed to the rule.

This past weekend, a number of stations in the same suburban area were at $4.02. There are a few $4.00/gallon spots in the city, but most are still holding at $3.99.

Was in the UP on a freelance assignment a month ago, and everything was in the $3.80-plus range in Michigan and Northern Wisconsin.

Little has change except for this most recent jump (to $4.00-plus) for several months now.

I'd love it if prices around here were that low. They're still 3.40 and up.

Prices are up 10 to 15 cents this week. Fortunately, I bought a car last month that cuts my gas usage in half.

$3.70. Same as a month ago to the day, when I filled up last. It's gone up about a dime since but just came back down.

Crude oil is spiking overnight due to Egypt unrest. WTI is at $101.65 per barrel in NYMEX overnight trading. Futures are at a 14-month high.

Still $3.83. At least it didn't go up in the last three weeks.
