$3.09 this morning in the town I live. Gas is $3.25 in the town I work.
I read this morning nearly 15 percent of gas stations in the U.S. are currently selling gas for less than $3 a gallon.

And it's jumped back up to 3.29-3.35. Not surprising, but it was nice while it lasted.

    Yesterday, $2.78.9.

Lowest I've seen it in more than a year.

Was driving around last week and saw a bunch of places at $3.01, then went down street and the next three stations were at $2.99. Been that way for about five days now.

$3.35 at Maverik in Boise. Looking at an online chart, it hasn't been this cheap since approximately a year ago.

West Texas Intermediate is at a six-month low ($92.30). Middle East tensions are at the lowest in years and oil barons in North Dakota and Texas are dragging the longhorn ornaments out of storage for their Cadillacs.

The only reason oil companies are hiking gas prices at this point is because they can.
