Saw $2.49.9, yes, I typed that correctly, for cash just down the road from my house. The station across the street was forced to $2.55.9. Everyone else is a good 25-30 cents higher.

  3. I'm seeing as low as $2.94 or so for 87 here. In the next town over, it jumps to about $3.20. Yeesh.

It'll never ever go under $3.00 except for fleeting moments again.

Big Oil knows it can fuck us over the chair for $3.00, so they're going to keep doing it.

On the road where I work, there are two gas stations within a mile of each other. One is a Marathon, the other a Speedway/SuperAmerica. The Marathon has been stuck at $2.99 for the last week or so now, while at last check, Speedway/SA was down to $2.74.

How can to stations that close together be so far off in price?

Just bought a Prius, and while the local Kroger price ($2.90-something) wasn't notable, filling up after three 100-mile round trips for under $20 was.

Was driving to Ann Arbor over the weekend and could see the signs on both sides of the highway for gas.
    Southbound BP: 3.63
    Northbound Shell: 3.04!

HTF can it be that uneven?!?!? Highway robbery indeed! And the prices were the same driving home hours later.

$2.81 yesterday in central Indiana, and as low as $2.76 over the past weekend.

$3.55 at Costco in Southern California for premium, which is the lowest it has been in quite a while.
