Filled up at $2.39 Wednesday night in Fort Worth. Actually, $2.29 with a Kroger discount, but the regular price there and at several other stations was $2.39.

Finally, $2.99 in potato land. I can't recall the last time I paid under $3 for a gallon of gasoline.

It's now $2.39 45 miles northeast of Richmond. 93 octane is now under $3.

Paid $2.27 yesterday in Oklahoma City, 20 cents cheaper than up here in Tulsa.

It's down to 2.60 and below in my neck of the woods, but one station near where I work hasn't dropped from the 2.72 it set last Monday.

So regular unleaded gas is right around $2.40 here -- I'm seeing $2.41, $2.42 most places.

    Today, I drove past a 7-11 near my son's school and did a double-take -- the sign read $2.12.

I made sure to look on the way back, and yes, that's what it said. Checking on my way to work, it looks like it's just that one station -- everyone else is still in the $2.40 range. Don't know if that's a mistake on the sign or a special of some sort or what. All I know is I wish my tank wasn't so full right now.

Update: I drove by that 7-11 again today (I'm driving my son to school this week while a car is in the shop) and it was up to $2.39, which is what most of the cheap places were at this morning. I'm wondering if yesterday was supposed to be $2.42 and some idiot put a 1 on the marquee instead of a 4.
