How much did you pay for gas today?

$1.87 in Metro New Orleans yesterday.

 

It's now $1.81 45 miles northeast of Richmond, Va

 

Filled up for $1.72 last night. $22.60 for a little over 13 gallons.

 

Prices have stabilized here. It's been $1.81-$1.86 (depending on where you go) for a couple weeks now.

 

What the hell? You guys are paying under $2 per? In California, I'm jumping for joy paying $2.80 per; well of course we have more cars, thus more pollution; good for you guys.

 

Guess it hadn't hit bottom. Most places are at $1.75 or $1.74, and yesterday I drove past an area where four or five stations were at $1.61 or $1.62.

Last week, I filled up (more than 15 gallons) for $24.58 with a 20 cents/gallon Kroger discount.

 

It was $1.75 in Wichita for most of the time I was home for Christmas but never went below $2.19 in my hometown.

The last day of my holiday vacation, gas went up to $1.85 in Wichita overnight. I found place still at $1.69 and filled up there (across the street was $1.61, but that was cash only and I seldom carry cash any more).

Got back here and it's been $1.69, which is cheaper than it was when I left on my trip.

 

Finally saw it at $1.99 today in FLA. YES!

 

2.19$, but really 1.99 with my Kroger discount.
