Now down to $2.29 here, a 10 cent drop since election day in my red state.

$2.19 today when I filled up. Still, less than $20 (two cents shy, to be exact) to go from a quarter of a tank to full.

Down the street it's $2.47. It was $2.39 a week ago. And I heard the national average is $2.21. We're getting jobbed.

Me, I'm running on empty. Holding out to do better than $2.39.9. Gotta fill up tomorrow.

$2.39.9 is the best I can do right now. It went up 11 cents the day after Election Day. Luckily, I filled up at $2.28 right before that.

Up from $2.19 to $2.29 this week. I'm sure it's just a coincidence.

Have the big oil lovers been noticeably quiet on this seeing as how they've been proven wrong again for, ohh, the umpeenth time?

Someone else posted this, but shortly before the election, oil prices went up which means a couple weeks later, gas prices will go up.

It was as low as $2.03 in the Kansas City area during the holidays.

Back home and at work now, the price dropped from $2.23 at the gas station next door to the newsroom when I got to work today to $2.18 when I took my break and filled up.

I would have been ticked had I bought the gas before going to work. As it is, not complaining.

Gas is in the 2.60s in Oregon, where all the minimum wage gas pumpers (because appearently no one in the state knows how to pump their own gase) are currently freezing.

Gas jumped 15 cents in the past two days, I'm guessing because of the winter storm approaching.

    Six- to 10-cent-per-gallon jump.
