How much did you pay for gas today?

Yup. Oil is cratering, but gas just went from 2.29 to 2.39 here.

Still going down here. Filled up at $2.04 yesterday -- well, $1.84, actually (thanks, Kroger!).

So oil hits a six-year low on Wednesday, gas goes from 2.29 to 2.39 that day, to 2.49 on Friday and to 2.64 today. Fuck you, oil companies.

I think you need to be mad at your local franchisees. As noted, gas prices are steadily falling here.

225.9 in southern Delaware. About ten cents or more lower than central MD.

On my drive home it's as low as $2.06 and as high as $2.29 for regular, with prices in between. Been that way since Thursday. Think it may have to do with who the jobber is for each station.

Actually the problem is the EPA and forcing us to "summer blend" gasoline. It's one of the awful April Fools jokes we get from the EPA every year. The refineries have to stop producing one blend of gas and start producing another, creating artificial shortages.

And the ethanol shit fucks up lawnmower engines. I've had to do a lot of lawnmower maintenance over the past few years, and it pisses me off. Fuck ethanol.

I bought a new lawnmower last summer and it was built to be ethanol friendly. But generally speaking corn syrup is bad for engines.

The shit gums up the carburetor. I actually joined a small engine repair message board to get tips. The curmudgeons treated me like Ruben.
