How much did you pay for gas today?

It jumped from $2.02 here Monday to $2.14 most places today. But hey, everyone has already forgotten about the election, haven't they?

 

Got it for 2.31 today. Local grocery chain store gives you up to a 10-cent discount on gas fill up when using their club card. Would've been 2.45 across the street.

 

Down to 2.01 in places here in South Carolina...

 

$0.96 CAN per litre, which is $3.63 CAN per one US gallon (there are 3.7854118 litres in one US gallon). With today's exchange rate, that means I paid $3.18 US for one US gallon.

You guys and gals south of the border thought you had it tough.

 

Had to pay almost CDN$80 to fill up on my way out of Toronto (not enough gas to get to the border). I wanted to give Canada a big eff-you on the way out, but I didn't.

 

Please, feel free. I do it all the time.
There are plenty of good things about this country, I know that, I've lived in cities coast to coast.

But the price of gas, the CRTC, the force-feeding of hockey, the weather, the monopolization of the media, the high cost of domestic air travel and high taxes are things I can do without.

However, universal health care, the Rockies, the beer, lower drinking age and schooling I like.

 

Given how the weekend already had raped me financially from the bar tours, it was the last thing I needed to see at the gas pump. C'est la vie.

 

$2.23 this afternoon, up a dime from the last time I filled up the tank at the station closest to work.

 

Filled up for $2.31 today. Would have gone down the street from work for $2.28, but I got $1 off my fill-up for a scratch-and-win game from this gas station that I used.

 

I'm at 2.19 here ... up 11 cents since Friday night.

 

$2.59. Up 20 cents from election day.

 

Went up to $2.14 for a short time here in South Carolina, but it's back down to $2.07 at the typical cheap spots along the interstate, which is nice....
