How much did you pay for gas today?

I caught a blurb on Fox News, which mentioned a chance that oil prices would balloon to almost $100 a barrel.

By the way, what's with that station? I had it on for about two minutes, and the other focus was on the Iraq Studly Group. They had some big headline slapped on the screen as though the news had just broken. But the news had been reported hours and hours earlier. I've seen this sort of thing constantly on Fox News. The seem to want people to believe that they're reporting on a breaking story when the story really broke hours prior to the report. Could't that be viewed as dishonesty?

 

Paid $2.41 today. It was $2.38 the day before and $2.48 the day before that. Go figure.

 

with the Sam's Club nickel discount it $2.19, today. Ten days ago, or about the last time I bought gas, it was $2.01 at one of the local gas stations.

Down to $2.41 here when I filled up today. Was $2.45 a couple days ago.

 

between 2.16-2.19 around here, as high as 2.29 elsewhere in this town...

It went up here to about $2.25 last week, but went down about 10 cents by Christmas Eve.
