How much did you pay for gas today?

Approx $3.27 US per gallon up here.

Gone up from about 70 cents to a loonie a litre in a week.

Esso had a major fire in one of their refineries and a CN rail strike has held up deliveries.

At one point about this week about 20% of the major gas stations (Shell, PetroCanada, Esso) were closed.

I took a trip to Glacier National Park last summer and crossed over to Canada. I went to fill up my rental car when I realized, "Wait, this car takes gas by the gallon, not by the litre."

I was worried, but I had no choice so I filled up. Surprisingly, the car ran fine.

It's still all unleaded gas, you know. You just pay more in Canada.

    I boycott Mobil.
They hike up a gas a dime overnight if oil inches up and they drop it very slow when it goes down.
That's where I believe that company gouges.

I think he was joking. At least I hope so.

When I got to work today, I was stunned to see gas at $2.51 next door ... a 22 cent raise in 36 hours.

Funny how it works like that ... but when it drops it's like two cents here, a nickel there, etc.

It's up to 2.26-2.29 here in South Carolina... and I filled up for $2.17 Tuesday. Glad I did.

    City where I work it's 2.49-2.55; city where I live is 2.35-2.45.

Just two weeks ago, gas was down to 1.90. Fuck big oil.

That's why I can't wait until payday gets here. My mileage check is gonna be great. Right around 500 miles, thanks to HS basketball (100), UK basketball (180) and state wrestling (170).
