How much did you pay for gas today?

$3.19 this AM, $3.23 by noon.

It's like The Price is Right, the owner spins the wheel and then raises the price by the amount the spinner lands at.

That's $.90 since election day, a 39 percent increase while the price of oil has remained flat, or even dropped.

 

Where the hell do you live, Saudi Arabia?

 

$2.719 x 15 gallons = $40.79 fill up earlier today.

 

And I would be doing cartwheels to fill up for $40.79.

20 gallons x $3.39 = Birdscribe taking it in the shorts.

Hell, it's $3.19 at Costco. That's where you know we're being screwed without being kissed.

 

OK, Mr. Worm Wrangler.... we have sympathy...

 

$2.79 today. Interesting, though, that across the river in Illinois the price is the same, and Illinois charges more tax than we do.

 

3.21 here. 12-cent increase in four days.

 

Gas was $2.73 when I went to work at 5 p.m. today at the gas station next to us. Six hours later, while scarfing down a quick bite to eat in the break room between editions, I looked out the window and noticed the sign read $2.78.

Guess I should have filled up before work, huh?

 

As of now, it's $2.98 in Michigan. I've seen it as low as $2.88 in a couple spots.

Still, beats Vancouver. They're paying the equivalent of $4.63 a gallon in BC now.

 

It's $3.05 here now, and I have to get gas tomorrow. Grrrrrrrr.
